O'Neil can custom match metallic, pearlescent, Special effect, Neon, and standard colorants to customer submitted targets.

Concentrates

Our main product is "Color concentrates (masterbatches)" or "compounds", formulated for specific end products.  Our colorants are used in Injection Molding, Blow Molding, Extrusion- either sheet of profile, and roto molding.  We also provide colorants for film extrusion.

Concentrate- A mixture of pigments or additives in a carrier resin, usually at 50% concentration. Ratios may vary with pigment or additive. Products are non-dusting and excellent color consistency. Used at a specific ratio 1-lb/50 lbs. resin or 2%.

Pre-Colored Compounds

Compounded Color- Color and additives added into final resin. Ready to use without mixing. Very good for hard to color resins or thin films where higher pigment concentrations can be obtained. More expensive than concentrates. Better color and compound consistency. Less color variation than concentrates. Additives and fillers can be added.

Dry Color

O'Neil Color manufactures "Dry Dispersions" or pigment blends that are sold either in Bulk pounds, or pre-weighed Units for a specific batch size.  This material finds its way into Rotational Molders that blend our colorant dry with their powdered resin.  They may mold storage tanks, dunnage carts, outdoor playgrounds, boats, or any other large parts that do not have to have a perfect surface finish.

Dry Dispersions- High intensity mixing of pigments. Must be added to base resin. Product is dusty, and cleanup is required. Not recommended with material that requires drying. Least expensive of all colorants. Use when short runs or very short lead times are required.
