FIRE RETARDANT CONCENTRATE INTERACT 21-0180
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Interact 21-0180 is designed to provide a very economical method to fire retard ABS virgin and regrind resins. Any degree of fire retarding can be achieved by adjusting the ratio of Interact 21-0180 to ABS. CARRIER RESIN: An ABS designed for easy and complete dispersion in both injection molding and extrusion grade ABS resins. COLOR: Black SPECIFIC GRAVITY: 1.62 CHEMISTRY: Organic bromine with antimony trioxide. LET DOWN RATIO: At 30% (43 parts per 100 resin) INTERACT 21-0180 will produce UL 94 V-2 flame retardancy at a sheet (part) thickness of 0.0625 inches and greater. At 40% (67 parts per 100 resin ) INTERACT 21-0180 will produce UL 94 V-0 flame retardancy at a sheet (part) thickness of 0.0625 inches and greater. This may vary somewhat depending on the carrier resin and the processing equipment in use. We recommend that the above let downs be used as starting points to establish the exact let down ratio for your product. PACKAGING: Gaylord boxes lined with polyethylene.
