PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Interact 91-0436 is an extremely effective moisture absorbent formulated with environmentally friendly ingredients. Suitable for sheet and profile extrusion, blow molding and injection molding applications where moisture in the plastic pellet is a problem.

CARRIER RESIN: Proprietary Olefin. Compatible and easily dispersible in a variety of thermoplastic olefinic and styrenic products.

APPEARANCE: Natural (opaque) pellet.

SPECIFICATIONS: Nominal 1/8" x 1/8" cylindrical or 1/8" spherical.

SPECIFIC GRAVITY: 1.45

MELT RANGE: 250 - 260^oF

RECOMMENDED LET DOWN RATIO: 2 -6% depending on level of moisture in the resin. Start with the lower amount and slowly add more until the moisture has been reduced to an acceptable level. The addition of excessive amounts of moisture absorber may effect the physical properties of the finished product.

LIMITATIONS: Interact 91-0436 concentrate is sold in moisture proof containers and must be kept in sealed containers until used. Interact 91-0436 contains strong hygroscopic materials and will absorb moisture quickly from the atmosphere when opened. Containers should only be opened when ready to use and sealed when not in use. Excessive exposure to moist air will render the product useless.

COMMENTS: INTERACT 91-0436 can be handled in conventional resin conveying systems. The use of adequate filters for the removal of fines and dust present in most concentrate systems should be used.
