FIRE RETARDANT CONCENTRATE INTERACT 91-0442
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: A bromine based concentrate for use in ABS resin. CARRIER RESIN: An ABS designed for easy and complete dispersion in both injection molding and extrusion grade ABS resins. COLOR: Natural off-white SPECIFIC GRAVITY: 1.62 CHEMISTRY: Organic bromine with antimony trioxide LET DOWN RATIO: At 30% (43 parts per 100 resin) INTERACT 91-0442 in ABS the fire retardancy will be UL94 V-0 at a sheet (part) thickness of 0.125 inches and greater. At 40% (67 parts per 100 resin) INTERACT 91-0442 in ABS the fire retardancy will be UL94 V-0 at a sheet (part) thickness of 0.0625 inches and greater. This may vary somewhat depending on the carrier resin and the processing equipment in use. We recommend that the above let downs be used as starting points to establish the exact let down ratio for your product. PELLET: Nominal 1/8" X 1/8" cylindrical or spherical PACKAGING: Gaylord boxes lined with polyethylene. Other packaging is available at a slight additional charge.
