PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Interact VCI is an extremely effective corrosion inhibitor concentrate suitable for producing extruded sheet and film used in the manufacturing of containers or films providing protection for ferrous components.

CARRIER RESIN: Proprietary olefin. Easily dispersible in low melt flow polyolefins.

COLOR: Natural(translucent) pellet. Can be color coded for identification.

SPECIFIC GRAVITY: 1.03

MELT RANGE: 320 - 340⁰F

LET DOWN RATIO: 3 - 5 depending on level of protection required.

LIMITATIONS: Interact VCI inhibits corrosion through the deposition of vapor on ferrous parts. The surface is protected without effecting the electrical or mechanical properties of the part. In laboratory tests identical Carbon Steel C1010 test coupons were placed in 0.010" thick LDPE bags manufactured from film with and without Interact VCI concentrate(3%). The components were subjected to an environment of 100% relative humidity at 100⁰F for twelve(12) weeks. The coupons in the Interact VCI modified film were rust free even though condensation was inside the bags. INTERACT VCI CAN TOTALLY ELIMINATE THE ADDED EXPENSE OF PRE AND POST TREATING FERROUS PARTS DURING TRANSIT OR STORAGE.

PACKAGING: Gaylord boxes lined with polyethylene. Other packaging is available at a slight additional charge.
