Machinery

    ONeil has the capability to manufacture small lots of 100 lbs. to railcars of concentrates and compounds.  We have a combination of Single screw, Twin screw, and Continuous mixer type extruders.  The equipment is designed to give the optimum amount of pigment or additive dispersion into the plastic matrix.

    Our Tennessee plant also has a resin pulverizing unit to produce fine 35 mesh grade powdered resin for rotational molders and other processors.

Laboratory

    Both manufacturing facilities have a fully staffed color quality control laboratory.  We have trained color specialists in-house 24 hours a day, or whenever the plant is in production.  Some of the lab equipment that is use in our q.c. process; Injection molding presses, Film extruders, small Rotational molder, Carver press, etc.. Colormatching and quality control are done both visually and by computer spectrophotometer when required.

    Our Compounds and Concentrates can be shipped in a variety of containers including;

• Cardboard boxes            50 lbs
• Gaylords                           1000 - 1500 lbs
• Fiber Drums                    100 - 250 lbs
• Bulk Trucks                       42,000 - 48,000 lbs.
• Rail Cars                          180,000 lbs (rail @ Tennessee only).

Other packaging can be handled dependent on customer individual needs.
