Processes using O' Neil color, compounds and concentrates
- Extrusion- Process for producing plastic parts by melting plastic and
forcing it through a die to form a shape. Types of extrusion consist of the
following Sheet extrusion, profile extrusion, film extrusion and extrusion
coating.
-
Injection Molding-Method of producing plastic parts by forcing molten
plastic into a closed cool mold.
-
Blow Molding method of producing plastic parts where a hot parison or
shape of plastic material is placed into a sealed mold then air is injected into
the parison to force the plastic against the mold walls to shape and cool the
plastic. Produces hollow parts.
-
Rotational Molding (micropulvulerizing available)- Method for producing plastic parts in which resin
and colorants are placed in side a sealed mold, the mold is heated and rotated.
The softened plastic adheres to the mold walls. This process requires powdered
or micropulverized colorants. Produces a hollow part
