Hints for Research & Development Success.

Details are the most important key to success, as they provide the in-site that our scientist need in order to evaluate problems.
Don't overlook minor details, that it might seem; "that everyone
should know".  O'Neil's customers have many, many, unique processes and parameters in which they have further developed their products.  We do not assume, or guess, and it slows the efforts toward development, if we do not understand your parameters and process from the beginning of the project.
Contact information on multiple levels is critical.  Please provide
as complete a list of personnel as possible, that could provide answers and their position within your company.

Specific resins or additives should always be sent with a material safety data sheet.  The laboratory will not start work with out the proper safety concerns being addressed.

The “End application” must be stated very clearly.  This is a critical part of the information that is necessary to formulate using the appropriate raw materials.   Complete information, will ensure the best and quickest results.

Hints for Critical Color Tolerance matches:

Resin specific color matches, will yield the best results for your end product.  Nylons, Polycarbonates, Acetal, Copolymer Polypropylene, and most thermoplastic resins have a based color that must be addressed in the color match process.  For “Color Critical” product color matches, please supply 10-20 lbs. of your specific resins with a material safety data sheet along with the color target.

The “End application” must be stated on the color match form.  This is a critical part of the information that is necessary to formulate using the appropriate raw materials.   More important also, is the contact that can answer questions about the product and process.   More information, will ensure the best and quickest results.
